Wilkening, born July 16, 1963 in Dijon (C?te-d'Or), is an actress, director,
screenwriter and French sculptor.
Teenager, Catherine Wilkening plays the role of Antigone by Jean Anouilh, within his high school drama club in Dijon. ........In the mid-1980s, she began on screen in short films and made an appearance in a film by Claude Lelouch. In 1987, she played the female lead in My beautiful love, my d?chirure1 Jos? Pinheiro, a passionate and intense love story with St?phane Ferrara as a partner. She then turns under the direction of G?rard Vergez, Denys Arcand, Yves Boisset or Coline Serreau. ........In the three strands of Heart Mens Marc Esposito, Nanou she played the fickle wife of Alex, played by Marc Lavoine. ........She is actively involved in television, appearing in popular series such as Nestor Burma, Julie Lescaut, Fabien Cosma, Josephine, Guardian Angel or Commissioner Magellan. ........In 2005 she passes behind the camera to direct the princess Emily ... 2, a short film which she also wrote the screenplay, the story of a refugee girl in his imagination. ........Since the early 2000s, she developed her passion for sculpture3.
