Born in Lancashire, trained in London, lived in Lisbon, now, travelling
with the stars..
Since the age of 2, her first words were in song and her first steps in dance. This is Zoey Jones. Known for her all round talents, not only in singing but also, dance, acting, songwriting and modelling. Her grace and beauty in performance has not just influenced many Counties and Countries but has already travelled over 4 Continents and showcased to many stars. Zoey's smooth, sensual voice will captivate you, with an image sexier than Jessica Rabbit herself. Zoey has been climbing (a very elegant ) ladder since her appearance on the first ever Pop Idol competition, held in the UK. This was her first real introduction into the world of Popular music. Training at Performing Arts College in London, Zoey dreamt for her whole life to be a prima ballerina, however after her training, new doors started to open and different interests started to come her way. These directed her towards music, which has now become her driving passion. |

With her debut television performance, Zoey (aka Callandria) made it
to the finals in 'Simon Cowell's' original 'Pop Idol'.
Since this time, Miss Jones, has managed to get a lot of interesting credentials under her sparkly belt, inc UK tours with Pop Band 'Near'say', supporting artists such as 'Sonique', 'Blue' and 'Atomic Kitten'. World tour with Portuguese artist Fernando Periera as a Backing singer and featured solo artist. Working with Brazilian Model/DJ artist Jesus Luz ( Madonna ex) on a track called Sweet Mystery which was released on his recent album. She has written hit songs with world known DJs such as 'Mastiksoul' and the 'Bingo players' which the hit song 'Takin Me High' (club mix) went viral and has reached nearly half a million views on YouTube. And also worked with Portuguese 'DJ Phil Kay' where they had several International Hits together with the songs reaching out to Brazil and Africa and Madiera. This lead to an MTV national tour. Zoey, held her solo debut performance for her recently released album 'Don't Think' at Internationally renowned Pop/Rock festival ROCK IN RIO in Lisbon, performing on the same days bill as artists 'Omar', 'Incognito', 'Elton John', Muse', 'Leona Lewis' and '2 Many DJs' Producing and arranging, has been something of which she never knew she could do until this album was created. The album will take you on her journey through love and life. Each song being very different, sending out a different message through word, beat or rythme. A Jazz/ Pop base, with hints of disco and house music, you will experience every different emotion while you sit back and enjoy listening to her album. Africa with tours and festivals and is currently touring Asia, where her
achievements in performance have already covered top class events in Singapore,
Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and more recently Hong Kong. She has been performing for artists and royalties from all over the world. Inc Princess Anne, Sting, the family of Picasso, Darcey Bussle, Joanna Lumley, Actors Omar Sharif and Rob Schneider, and the royal family of Cambodia This is still only the beginning for Zoey Jones exciting journey. 1.ยินดีมากนะครับที่ได้มาสัมภาษณ์คุณโซอี้ในวันนี้นะครับ เป็นการเดินทางมาในเมืองไทยเป็นครั้งแรกหรือไม่ครับ
-การเดินทางมาเมืองไทยในครั้งนี้ไม่ได้เป็นครั้งแรกที่เดินทางมาเมืองไทยเมื่อปีที่แล้วมีโอกาสได้เดินทางมาเมืองไทยเพื่อเปิดการแสดงที่ Hilton Hotel วึ่งดีมากเลยนะค่ะ ประทับใจคนไทยมากเป็นพิเศษเพราะเรารู้สึกว่าเค้าร้องเพลงเราได้และต้อนรับเราอย่างอบอุ่นเป็นกันเอง ปีนี้เลยได้มีโอกาสมาอีกครั้งแต่ปีนี้พิเศษกว่าตรงที่มันเป็นปีที่เราได้มาเปิดการแสดงเป็นของเราเองคนเดียวไม่ได้เป็นแขกรับเชิญเหมือนปีที่แล้วนะค่ะ และพอมาถึงแล้วยิ่งดีใจที่มีคนต้อนรับเราอย่างอบอุ่นเหมือนเคยค่ะ 2.อะไรเป็นบันดาลใจให้คุณชื่นชอบการร้องเพลงโดยเฉพาะการร้องเพลงในสไตล์แจ๊สแบบ Easy Listening ครับ -สำหรับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากเพลงที่ชั้นชื่นชอบนะค่ะ เพราะชั้นเป็นคนชอบเพลงแจ๊ส แต่ก่อนที่ชั้นจะมาร้องเพลงแจ๊สความจริงชั้นร้องเพลงหลายแนวมากนะคร่ะ แต่พอจะมาเปิดการแสดงที่นี่ โดยเฉพาะเวลาเรามาเปิดการแสดงในเอเซียจะเลือกแสดงเพลงแจ๊สเพราะคนที่รู้จักชั้นชื่นชอบเพลงของชั้นในแนวแจ๊สเสียส่วนใหญ่ค่ะ 3.เทคนิคในการแสดงแต่ละครั้งให้มัดใจคนฟังคืออะไรครับ การเปิดการแสดงแต่ละครั้ง มันจะมีการแสดงที่แตกต่างกันไปตามบทเพลงที่เราเลือก ตามคนที่เข้ามาฟัง และธีมแต่ละครั้งที่เราแสดงเป็นหลักเพื่อให้ทุกๆ อย่างมันลงตัวเป็นแนวทางเดียวกันนะค่ะ อย่างมาที่นี่ด้วยบรยากาศดีๆ แบบนี้ต้องร้องเพลงในแนวแจ๊สแต่ต้องไม่ใช่เพลงในแนวแจ๊สที่ฟังแล้วชวนให้เคลิ้มแต่ต้องมีจังหวะเพื่อเพิ่มความสนกสนานด้วยนะค่ะ 4.แล้วการแสดงที่นี่ (Madiza) โรงแรม Muse Hotel แห่งนี้ในวันนี้เป็นอย่างไรบ้างครับ เรียกว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ที่ชั้นประทับใจเลยคร่ะ การแสดงครั้งนี้ประทับใจมาก โดยเฉพาะที่ Madiza แห่งนี้เป็นอะไรที่พิเศษมากนะค่ะ ความจริงมีอีกหลายๆ บทเพลงที่อยากจะเล่นแต่หมดเวลาเสียก่อน ครั้งหน้าจะเตรียมมาเล่นเพิ่มเติมอีกแน่ๆ ที่นี่ตกแต่งบรรยากาศสวย เหมาะสำหรับการที่เราจะมาฟังเพลงและแองเอาต์กับเพื่อนๆ นะค่ะ หรือจะมากับคู่รักมาฟังเพลงผ่อนคลายกันก็ได้ค่ะ สถานที่และบรรยากาศเยี่ยมมากทีเดียวค่ะ |

5.หลายๆ คนเรียกคุณว่าเป็นแถวหน้าของเพลงแจ๊สคุณคิดอย่างไรครับ
การเป็นนักร้องที่เป็นชั้นนำ ความจริงไม่อยากเรียกตัวเองแบบนั้น เพราะมันยังมีอะไรอีกหลากหลายอย่างที่ชั้นเองต้องพัฒนาตัวเองไปอีกเยอะนะค่ะ ใครก็ตามที่ให้เกียรติชั้นแบบนั้นก็ยินดีมากค่ะ แต่แอบกดดันเล็กๆ เพราะเราจะต้องพัฒฯให้ได้ตามที่คนฟังคาดหวังกับเรานะค่ะ 6.แนวเพลงที่คุณถนัดมีอะไรบ้างครับ แจ๊สจนถึงโซล เรียกว่า ทุกเพลงที่เล่นเป็นเพลงโปรดนะค่ะ และเป็นแนวที่ถนัดมากด้วยค่ะ 7.คุณเพิ่งจะออกอัลบั้มไปเมื่อปลายปีที่แล้วและตอนนี้มีทัวร์คอนเสริ์ตในแถบเอเซียอะไรเป็นสิ่งที่ท้าทายคุณอีกในอนาคตครับ -สิ่งที่ท้าทาย คือ การออกอัลบั้ม และการท้าทายที่มากกว่า คือการทำเพลงในอัลบั้มต่อไปให้คนยังชื่นชอบเหมือนเดิม เพราะการที่มีคนรู้จักมากเท่าไหร่และการมีคนชื่นชอบงานเดิมของเรามากแค่ไหน งานใหม่จะมีแรงกดดันมากขึ้นเท่านั้น เพรามันหมายถึงความคาดหวังของคนฟังที่รักเราและสนับสนุนเรานะค่ะ 8.นั่นคือสิ่งที่ทำงานคุณทำงานหนักมากทีเดียวในช่วงนี้ และยังมีใครท่คุณอยากร่วมงานด้วยมั้ยครับ -การทำงานในอนาคตต้องการจะทำงานกับศิลปินมากมายนะค่ะ อย่างจิมมี่ รีไควร์ ก็เป็นคนที่ชื่นชอบมาก และอยากทำงานด้วยหวังว่าจะมีโอกาสได้ร่วมงานกันค่ะ |

........9.ก่อนจากกันไปวันนี้ของหลักการทำงานของคุณกับบทเพลงหน่อยครับ
-หลักการทำงานของชั้น คือ การทำงานบนเพลง การทำงานกับเพลงคือการสัมผัสคนจากเพลงและให้เพลงสัมผัสคน คือการทำให้เพลงสัมผัสเข้าไปในใจของคนและทำให้เค้ารู้สึกตาม มันเป็นเรื่องของโทน สำเนียง จังหวะและอืนๆ ที่จะต้องสอดคล้องกันเพื่อให้ผลลัพทธ์ออกมาดีและที่สำคัญต้องหมั่นขยันทำงานนะค่ะ ฝึกฝนตนเองตลอดพัฒนาทักษะใหม่ๆ เรื่อย และยังคงรักษามาตราฐานเดิมค่ะ 10.สุดท้ายนี้อยากให้คุณฝากอะไรถึงคนอ่านหน่อยครับ -ฟังเพลงแจ๊สกันเยอะๆ นะค่ะ และอย่าลืมฟังเพลงของชั้นด้วย หวังว่า จะชื่นชอบชอบกันนะค่ะ และขอบคุณสำหรับทุกการสนับสนุนดีๆ ตลอดมาค่ะ และเชิญสัมผัสความอร่อยและอาหารหลากหลายรูปแบบได้ที่
