The line Love Moschino was created in 1987, with the initial name "Moschino
Jeans". It changed in Love Moschino in 2008, as announced by Moschino
S.p.A, a company of the Aeffe Group, and Sinv S.p.A, a leader in the
manufacturing and licence distribution of important young and active
fashion brands.

Love Moschino has the creative, intelligent, ironic character of the Moschino
brand and it blends with all the qualities of LOVE: empathy, feeling and
closeness. The name is even more consistent with the present collections,
in which denim is no longer the only featured player. LOVE is also one
of those iconic words of the fashion house which can convey a feeling
and communicate a positive message. ........The first Love Moschino collections are - men and women -Autumn/Winter 2008/09 pre-collection, distributed in stores since June 2008. Rossella Jardini - Creative
Director
........In 1994 Rossella Jardini took over the Creative Direction of Moschino, for the labels Moschino, Moschino Cheap and Chic and Love Moschino. Rossella Jardini's background includes different experiences in successful Italian fashion houses. In 1978, before coming to Moschino, she worked alongside Nicola Trussardi developing the clothing and leather goods lines. Her first encounter with Franco Moschino was in 1981, however, when she collaborated with him on the start of the Cadette label and, after a short spell at Bottega Veneta, she returned to work with Franco Moschino on the signature project. ........In her guise as Creative Director of Moschino, Rossella Jardini is also responsible for advertising and store image. |
