1, 2013 - Hyundai Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd, sole distributor and importer
of Hyundai vehicles in Thailand, enters its 6th year of operation with
confidence as the company completed the year 2012 with total sales of
5,010 units or above 10% increase over that of 2011, thanks to the growing
sales of Hyundai H-1, Hyundai Tucson and All-New Hyundai Elantra, which
was launched earlier in the year.
........Mr. Yoshiaki Ichimura, President of Hyundai Motor (Thailand), disclosed that the unique marketing style of Hyundai in Thailand had contributed significantly to Hyundai's current market acceptance and brand recognition with both the products and the name Hyundai gradually improving. The company started the year 2012 with the AAA or Triple A strategy which focused on improved Assurance, Accountability and Aspiration as ways to bring about greater customer satisfaction. The year also saw the launch of 2 new models in the Kingdom namely All-New Hyundai Elantra - the winner of 2012 North American Car of the Year Award, and the New Grand Starex Premium - the latest 7-seater Luxury MPV that drew beyond-expected booking number during the Motor Expo 2012. "Hyundai Motor (Thailand) ended the year with sales beyond 5,000 units or over 10% increase which is in line with the current Hyundai trend around the globe," Mr. Ichimura said. |

with the level of sales making the number of total Hyundai vehicles
on the road exceeding 15,000 at yearend. New product like All-New Hyundai

and showroom network will be expanded from 23 locations to as many as
26 locations. Currently there are 11 branches of showrooms in Bangkok
and 12 in the provinces. The new facilities for Hyundai Motor (Thailand)
Corporate headquarters will also be erected in 2013. The facility, standing
on over 7-rai land, will include National Service and Parts Center with
division to provide enhanced Human Resource Development. Parts warehousing
area will be doubled and service work bay will be up to 22 slots to make
sure speedy and impressive services despite increasing number of Hyundai
vehicles," he added. |
